How DEME captured an HR Award with a video full of imagination
FROM WILD IDEA TO ACCLAIMED RESULT
When DEME – a global leader in dredging, offshore energy, and environmental solutions – applied to become HR Ambassador 2025, they needed a striking video to reinforce their HR report. We came up with a fresh angle.
A future full of wonder
We opted for a surprising and playful concept. DEME's diverse activities are discovered through the eyes of Joséphine, a young girl with a vivid imagination. In her world, technology plays a leading role, embodied by a robot sidekick who takes her by the hand and lets her dream about a future at DEME.
To bring our futuristic fantasy to life, we collaborated with VFX artists who developed our robot from design to animation. A technical feat straight out of the Pixar universe.
Co-creation at its finest
We aimed high with the special effects, everything had to be spot on. We presented our grand ideas to top director Anthony Nti, who shared our enthusiasm and was immediately on board. He brought his vision to the set, and our crew took care of the detailed execution. For example, our multi-talent Elif dyed Joséphine's outfit yellow the day before filming so that it would blend perfectly with the sofa.
From pre- to post-production, this project required streamlined collaboration, creative craftsmanship, and quick thinking. The result is no less than impressive.
Joséphine, the girl who stole the scene
We knew it right away when she came to our casting day: Joséphine is the one. Although it was her first time on a film set, she brought the story to life effortlessly. She stole the show and our hearts. A natural talent!
